LeadSigma Internship

LeadSigma is a sales-tech platform that plugs leaky sales funnels by connecting online forms (websites, landing pages, and/or digital lead forms) to business phones, creating immediate revenue generating conversations with new customers. In addition, LeadSigma provides actionable follow-up tasks which ensure that sales teams execute the right follow-up actions at the right times.

Main Roles

For about a year, I worked with a strong startup to create their new website and landing page. During this project, there were many teams were working on projects such as the mobile application, infographics, and sales analytics. Every week we met and gave each other updates. Along the way, I learned many skills such as professional communication, stand up meetings, task management, and teamwork.  

Wordpress Web Design

As LeadSigma started to gain traction, they needed a new and improved digital presence, which I began through Wordpress Development.

Web Application Design

In the agile sprint process, new features and screens needed created in order to keep up with customer needs in terms of new functionalities.

SEO and Google Analytics

As I navigated the creation of LeadSigma's digital presence, my mission was then to drive more traffic to the new site using SEO and Google Analytic marketing.

Pardot Email Design

For Salesforce marketing campaigns, LeadSigma had the vision to send out mass marketing emails to their target customers. I was in charge of designing and implementing the templates in Pardot.

Website Callout Design

As LeadSigma began to gain website traffic, our goal was to drive the site traffic to a sales page. The middle touchpoint in this process was the website callout, all in which I created and implemented throughout the site.

Case Study Campaigns

Targeting orthodontic practices, LeadSigma wanted to begin writing case studies with partner companies to drive more traffic to the website. In this marketing tactic, I designed the case study page, website call outs, and the page in which the customers would be redirected to.

Wordpress Web Design

During the LeadSigma internship, I was tasked with creating multiple different landing pages for the company. I was working alongside the marketing team in order to create different landing pages for e-mail newsletter signups, a secret shopper analysis, their home page and many others. For the website redesign, I worked on Wordpress, both the front and back end, to deliver a solution. Three of the websites I created are shown below.

Web Application Design

Over the course of the internship, the development team would plan out sprints in which the UI team would design new features that were needed on the application.

When tasked with a feature, I would look in to best practices into how other interfaces utilize a certain feature.

SEO and Google Analytics

In order to create higher conversion rates and more traffic for LeadSigma, I was in heavy contact with the marketing team. Our goal was to be a high priority on Google Search using top key phrases that were associated with the use cases of LeadSigma's platform.

Pardot Email Design

Once LeadSigma was at a bandwidth to start outreach through Salesforce's Pardot, they were in need of a Pardot designer. Another intern and I took charge of the Pardot email design campaign.

Due to heavy design restrictions, manual code was required to make some designs​. Additionally, I learned how to use verbiage on a landing page to direct design decisions on a Pardot Template. I also learned how to run email campaigns through Pardot for lead outreach.

Website Call-Out Design

After I created certain web pages, we needed to be able to effectively use call outs from our orthodontic resources page to the "Grow Your Orthodontic Practice Page." Working alongside the marketing team, we needed to redirect potential leads to our main selling point.

From this,  I learned how to use case studies and resources to drive traffic to landing pages and how to use verbiage on a landing page to direct design decisions on a call out.

Case Study Campaigns

After LeadSigma had case studies from multiple different large corporations, they wanted to utilize them to get more prospective clients.

CEO, Scott Hansen, would write the case studies and I would implement them into Wordpress. I would create website call outs from the case studies to other pages of the site which improved conversion rates for LeadSigma.
